Weather Conditions
The winter months in Central Alabama are mild compared to various parts of the country. Throughout the months of October and November the high temperature could range from the mid-60’s to the mid-70’s, with lows at around 50 degrees.
There are fronts that pass through the area, so the temperature could vary. When December and January roll around the temperature does take a dip, with the average high being around 50-55 degrees and the lows being in the mid to upper 30’s. The month of February tends to stay on trend with December and January, with a warm-up and signs of spring coming in March.
Snow and Ice are rare occurrences in Carlowville, but it has been known to happen. If snow/ice does occur during your hunt Charles will make an executive decision as to whether or not it is safe for the hunters and staff to participate in the hunt at that time. It is recommended that you bring your rain gear, as a pop-up shower is not unheard of in these parts. As we all know, weather is a very unpredictable element so we advise all hunters to view the forecast before arriving and be prepared for all scenarios.
